Kids R Paramount
This is the total package. Everything from branding to interaction and motion design for a small creative firm.
Disappointed at the lack of individual autonomy in the everyday work environment, Kids R Paramount was created from the minds of 3 like minded inviduals. Along with Hugh Lee and Jason Hakala, I took steps to establish our brand identity as a creative collective looking to do work independent of any corporate structure. We adopted a name that had been floating in Hugh's head for the past 10 years, Kids R Paramount.
And so the task was set. With name in hand, and after several logos and marks later, I embarked on a creative whim to meet a deadline and accidentally drafted what would become the current logo. It the embodied child-like imagination we wanted to convey in a manner of clean-cut professionalism.
With the website, the most important part was obviously making sure our information was presented in a clear, concise, and convenient interface that is immediately obvious. The grid motif came after finding an old lab notebook (probably encrusted in old chemicals). The idea stuck and the site was born.
