Global Air And Space
An experimental UI for the browser experience that rethinks existing modes of content traversal.
This project is an amalgamation of a few technologies that I had always endeavored to put together, namely AJAX, deep-linking URLs, and a visual "browserless" interface. What is meant by browserless is the idea of creating a UI that is not reliant on default browser behavior, but built completely within the site itself. In that way, it transcends the various quirks present in each browser, allowing the interface to feel less like a website and more like an application.
Created with much inspiration from the Portal series, a flurry of JQuery, as well as an array of a few of my 3D art pieces, I created this concept of a futuristic company dedicated to science and industry.
